The 'new' Crosby Baths is no longer new. I remember the old one. A tall rectangle with a very very high diving board. Did some competitions there back in the day. All very formal and distant. Used to do cricket nets here too, back in the late 00s. I like the roof on this place. This was taken early one Autumn morning. The fresh air of the sea did me good.
To the right is Burbo Bank Wind Farm. Great stuff. Get them built I say. Might save us all. If you look closely, there is a huge V of birds in the centre left of the picture. The Irish Sea lurks beyond.
Statues of men - well worth a visit to see these. Courtesy of Anthony Gormley. Great to see public art. Oil Rig to the left of the wind farm.
Public Library at Crosby. Such places need to be promoted and defended. Public Space and Public Knowledge etc. Amen to that.
